Maarten Ketels has been a professional actor since childhood. He graduated as a Master in Dramatic Arts, and trained further at The Bristol Old Vic Theatre school. He played a lead in the first motion-captured animation film CAFARD in Belgium. He played Vincent in The Netflix Original SENSE8 directed by Lana Washowski. He was also opposite to Cheky Kario in THE MISSING (BBC) and next to Jennifer Ehle and Cynthia Nixon in the bio pic A QUIET PASSION. He has played lead parts in THE ROTHENBURGS, NET MUM and the Dutch film PATAGONIA. He is fluent in English, French and Dutch.
