Thaer Al-Shayei is an Iraqi-born Welsh actor whose recent credits include MOSUL, helmed by the Russo brothers and directed by Matthew Michael Carnahan (for Netflix) and Channel 4's BAGHDAD CENTRAL. His television credits include SPIRIT BREAKER, THE STATE, STELLA, CAPTIVE and INSIDE MEN.

Thaer is a trained boxer and speaks fluent Iraqi-Arabic as well as English.
